I am really lucky to have a wonderful group of sisters and sister-in-laws. I am even more lucky when we get to spend time together and laugh as loud as we want. We got to spend a week together on Whidbey Island and it was a wonderful time. Here are 5 new things that we found that we love.
The Braeburn Restaurant

Madrona Supply Company

Ebey’s Landing Bluff Trail

Washington Park in Anacortes
Bayview Farm and Gardens

The first time I lived in Portland I never once crossed the river to explore the neighboring city of Vancouver, Washington. I never really felt the need to. Portland had more than enough to keep me busy. Now that I am back to stay in the area; it is a different story.
In some ways I am blessed to live in Portland but work in Vancouver and because I try to avoid as much traffic as possible; I find myself hanging around in Washington and exploring.
So here are 5 of my new favorites haunts in Vancouver.

It is summer and I have had a friend staying with me for almost two months. That means we had to squeeze in as many road trips as possible. We managed to make it to Coeur D’Alene Idaho, Spokane Washington, Seattle Washington, Port Angeles Washington, Victoria British Columbia, Nanaimo British Columbia, and the Northern & Central Coasts of Oregon. It has been a lot of fun exploring old haunts and finding new places. Here are my favorite pictures I have taken along the way. Enjoy!
