Songs for the Relaxed and Cozy Fall

This post is exactly what the title says. Enjoy relaxing for a few moments!

Lazy Drive From Seattle

So I had another work conference and it took me to Seattle. It was nice to have it closer to me so I didn’t have to be at the mercy of the airlines and flight delays like my last trip. I also get the added benefit of taking my time coming home and doing a little “off-the-beaten-path” exploring. Here are 5 new finds.

  1. Lake Sacajawea Park in Longview, WA
  2. Officers Row in Vancouver, WA
  3. Museum of Glass including the Chihuly Bridge of Glass in Tacoma, WA
  4. Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge in Nisqually, WA
  5. Tumwater Falls Park in Tumwater, WA

Wrap Up

Portland temperature dropped a couple of weeks ago at night which makes sleeping now SUPER easy. It is officially cuddle season! So now I find myself looking for blankets to wrap around me while sitting around the house reading or watching television. Here are five places I am looking for another blanket from.

  1. Parachute
  2. Keep
  3. Living Roots on Etsy
  4. Soft Surroundings
  5. Restoration Hardware

Smell That

Fall means there are new smells in the air and that includes in cooking. Here are five recipes I plan on cooking up that are that cozy fall smell to me.

  1. Vanilla Chai Tea Cookies from Mommy Hates Cooking
  2. Pumpkin Spice Waffles from Lovely Little Kitchen
  3. Apple Cinnamon Fruit Leather from Real Mom Nutrition
  4. Best Ever Hot Wassail from Yummy Healthy Easy
  5. Roasted Turkey Breast with Infused Butter from I Food Blogger
