TED Talks

Over the years I have gravitated to listening to TED talks during my work day. They offer the right mix of content and duration that I am able to listen and focus without compromising the one over the other. I also have a lots of friends that exchange thoughts and videos with me. It is similar to a book club for us.

I decided to share with you 5 of the ones that I have loved the most. Have you listen to any TED talks? What are you favorites?

Bright Songs

I don’t know how many of you listen to playlists on YouTube but one of the channels I like is Alex Rain Bird Music. I like that it isn’t a video that distracts me during the work day but the music stays in the same theme without jumping around too much. A couple of weeks past they published a playlist called Wake Up Happy and it made me smile while listening to it.

Here are 5 songs that I really enjoyed from the playlist.

Up North

A couple of weeks ago I headed up to Northern Idaho to visit a friend. Most of you know that I have gotten to know the state of Idaho very well during my lifetime but I had never explored Northern Idaho until now and it has created a need to go back and do more exploring.

Here are 5 things to do when you are up that direction.

  1. Hells Canyon National Recreation Area
  2. Snake River
  3. Pullman, WA
  4. Moscow, ID
  5. Lewiston, ID

You Caught My Eye

Pinterest is going to be the death of me one of these days especially when I find myself scrolling through the images and stopping a food saying, “Oh, that looks like fun. Let’s try it”!

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

So here are 5 food posts that caught my eye and I am wanting to try.

  1.  Double Blue Peppermint Moon Milk
  2. Grapefruit Curd
  3. Old Bay Shrimp Burritos
  4. Vegetarian Thai Pineapple Forbidden Fried Rice
  5. Hong Kong Style Mango Pancake
