All I Want Is Veggies

Turns out the start of this year has been anything but fun. It has been stressful with work, little sleep, sporadic exercise, and I still feel the intense pull to detox from all of the holiday food. So can you blame a girl that all she wants is vegetables at this point? So here are 5 recipes that veggie veggie-focused and beautiful as well. Happy eating!

The Perfect Hummus

Soup is on the Menu

Can you believe it is October? Where did the summer go? One day I was wearing shorts and t-shirt; now I find myself in long pants and sweaters. I am now cuddling up in a blanket and keeping the windows closed so as to not let too much cold air in.

That brings me to food. The kind of food I want to eat when I need to get warm. Soup.

Here are 5 recipes I am giving a try this season.

  1. Hot & Sour Soup from Nom Nom Paleo
  2. Bok Choy Chicken Garlic Soup from Canadian Cooking Adventures
  3. Kale Soup with Curried Cauliflower Rice from Cotter Crunch
  4. Instant Pot Chicken & White Bean Soup from Feasting at Home
  5. 15 Minute Wonton Soup from Feasting at Home

Back to “Normal Food”

It feels like it has been FOREVER since I have eaten what I would consider a “normal” meal. I have had family from out-of-town, the holidays, parties, and long nights at the office that turned my regular eating habits upside down.

Now I am trying to ease myself back into the habit of cooking meals at home and preparing food for the work week. Here are 5 recipes that I am going to try in the next couple of weeks.

  1. Skinny Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes from Not Enough Cinnamon
  2. Salsa Fresca Chicken from Easy Family Recipes
  3. High-Protein Avocado Chicken Salad from Beauty Bites
  4. Farro Bowls with Figs, Kale & French Goat Cheese from Feasting at Home
  5. Greek Power Bowls from Delish
