Thankful for the Little Things that Make Up My Life

Can I just say how much I love each and every one of you? My life is truly blessed because of the people in it and the love and support that I feel. There is nothing extraordinary about my life and the majority of the world will never know a lot about it or even care but my life is extraordinary nonetheless. Some of the things that I am blessed with are: my family, my faith, my health, my friends, my loves, my life, the nature around me and many more.

I hope each and everyone of you are able to take a moment and really see just how extraordinary your lives are as well.

Here are 5 quotes to guide you as you take a look at your lives and see what little things make up the gratitude in your heart.

Thankful for the Gift of Travel

I have been blessed in my life to travel to many places near and far. Every time I hop in the car or on a plane, I get thrilled. I am so excited about where my next adventure will take me, what I will see and who I will meet. Even in the year of COVID, I have been able to take 11 trips (most very close to home) but I have discovered new things and new places I want to go back to.

Get out there and discover even if it is something close by. Take that Saturday to do go explore that town you have always been meaning to get to. Then start planning for future longer trips. Wanderlust really is a thing and it is wonderful once the travel bug has finally bit you.

Here are 5 destinations that I have loved (since I cannot list all of my destinations).

  1. Archipelago of Gothenburg Sweden
  2. Blarney Castle & Gardens Ireland
  3. Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park Hawaii
  4. Grand Teton National Park * Jackson Hole Wyoming
  5. Deception Pass * Whidbey Island Washington

Creepy Words Abound

Halloween is upon us and I am excited! (even if it is a homebound one)

I have had to make a number of adjustments to my usual Halloween activities this year but some good things have come from it as well. Instead of my usual outside frolicking and merriment, I have to turn to inside activities such as movies and books. It is kind of nice to have a slightly quieter holiday this year.

So here are 5 creepy quotes to haunt you nights.

Creepy Songs . . .potentially

So here we are in October and there are lots of fun songs to celebrate the holiday but this year I was listening to some songs and decided to share 5 songs that the lyrics could be potentially creepy.

What songs do you listen to that could be potentially creepy?
