Springtime Salads

It is that time again when everything lightens up. No more heavy foods to keep us sedentary. So here are 5 salads that I am looking forward to making.

Spring Vegetable Salad
Easter Salad
Cucumber Blueberry Salad
Spring Salad with Burrata

Something Green

Since most of us will not have the opportunity to travel to Ireland to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day; hopefully we will all be able to enjoy something green in solidarity. Here are 5 things that I like.

Ground Cover
Green Cabinet
Green Dress
Green Nails
Green Vegetable Soup

Actual V-Day . . .(how it will go)

I don’t know about anyone else but I love holidays and I especially love them when they are low-key. If I ever wanted Valentine’s Day to be a big deal; this year is not the year. I have all-day meetings lasting until 8pm that evening. Luckily I am not the only one with a crazy schedule that day but I do want to start the day off right for everyone just so they know they are loved. I have cards already picked out and written on. I will be picking up flowers the night before and a special treat I had pre-ordered for everyone. The last thing I plan on doing is making breakfast in bed for everyone (and yes, I need to have it done before my first meeting of the day at 8am). 😉 So to honor that vision in my head, I am narrowing down my breakfast choices to the following:

Love Toast
Breakfast Mimosa (Virgin)
Easy Breakfast Parfaits
Mini Pancakes
Pink Yogurt Bowl
Strawberry Hot Chocolate

Valentines For Everyone

This year I have a house full of people so I am actually wanting to do a little more for this holiday. So here are 5 things I am working on.

Felt Hearts
Heart Mantle
Caprese Salad
Bacon Roses
Heart Fruit Kabobs
