1. Decided to post another comment after thinking about this and what I wrote in my Book of Mormon “journal” last night.
   (1 Ne 17) Laman and Lemuel’s comments in reference to their wives and children……..(v.17) “Our brother is a fool, for he thinketh that he can build a ship; yea, and he also thinketh that he can cross these great waters.” (v.20) “…..they have…….suffered all things save it were death; and it would have been better that they had died……….. than to have suffered these afflictions.” Then Nephi rehearsing the scriptures to them in reference to the story of Moses………(v. 50 & 51) “And I said unto them: If God had commanded me to do all things I could do them……..And now, if the Lord has such great power, and has wrought so many miracles among the children of men, how is it that he cannot instruct me, that I should build a ship?” My journaling………..”Do I spend too much time complaining rather than looking at the blessings that have come? Are we listening and doing as our Prophet leads us today? Do we forget about the miracles in our lives?”
   Just seemed to fit for me! Thanks again for the post and urge into this new year!
