Hawaii!!

Do I really need to say anything else after the header?

It was a wonderful trip and exactly what I needed when I needed it. We were originally supposed to go at the beginning of March but we made the choice to hold off and we are glad we did since it was a day later that the state shut down to outsiders.

We did go through the mandatory COVID test and it did come back negative for us but it was nerve racking until we knew for sure we were okay. Once we landed it was a fairly quick process to get through the check stations and then on to the warm weather.

Below are 5 of the favorite new things we found on this trip.

  1. Kualoa Ranch
  2. Kailua Beach Adventures
  3. Ono Yo
  4. Lokoea Farm
  5. Kizuna Japanese Sushi

Walt Disney World

I may be middle aged but no time like present time to make it to Walt Disney World! It was a ton of fun (even in the midst of COVID restrictions). I am so glad that I had the opportunity to go and if I am never able to make it back, I will now have the memories forever. So here are 5 things at WDW that I loved the most.

  1. EPCOT
  2. Via Napoli Restaurant
  3. Expedition Everest
  4. Magic Kingdom
  5. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Thankful for the Gift of Travel

I have been blessed in my life to travel to many places near and far. Every time I hop in the car or on a plane, I get thrilled. I am so excited about where my next adventure will take me, what I will see and who I will meet. Even in the year of COVID, I have been able to take 11 trips (most very close to home) but I have discovered new things and new places I want to go back to.

Get out there and discover even if it is something close by. Take that Saturday to do go explore that town you have always been meaning to get to. Then start planning for future longer trips. Wanderlust really is a thing and it is wonderful once the travel bug has finally bit you.

Here are 5 destinations that I have loved (since I cannot list all of my destinations).

  1. Archipelago of Gothenburg Sweden
  2. Blarney Castle & Gardens Ireland
  3. Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park Hawaii
  4. Grand Teton National Park * Jackson Hole Wyoming
  5. Deception Pass * Whidbey Island Washington

Bear Lake

A family favorite is to spend time at Bear Lake every summer. This is something that I haven’t been able to indulge in for years but somehow this year I was able to spend time with the family and remember just how much I love it. Bear Lake is situated in the corner of Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. If you ever find yourself near the area – make a point of stopping by.

Here are 5 things that I love at Bear Lake. What things do you love in that area?

  1. Pickleville Playhouse
  2. La Beau’s Famous Shakes
  3. Minnetonka Caves
  4. Bear Lake Rentals
  5. Bear Lake Pizza Company
